Thank you so much from SU Relay For Life! Any donations we get are greatly appreciated. Relay For Life is a nonprofit and we focus on getting donations for the American Cancer Society meaning that we do not fundraise for our club. We are fortunate for all the people that help our club continue by donating!

We plan to use these funds to send students to attend conferences like the National Conference on Undergraduate Research. We also would like to sponsor more opportunities for them present their work, such as Posters on the Bay where our students present their work to the state legislators. GIVING DAY PROFILE:
Squawkapella
Raised $1,459.11 from 23 donors
Squawkappella, Salisbury University's sole a cappella group, has been harmonizing and captivating audiences since its inception in 2004. This talented group of students not only entertains the campus community but also represents the university in prestigious a cappella collegiate competitions.
Like any dynamic musical ensemble, Squawkappella faces numerous expenses. Travel costs to competitions, concert setups, and the procurement of high-quality microphones are some of the essential investments that contribute to their success. Recognizing these financial requirements, the members of Squawkappella decided to seize the opportunity presented by Salisbury University's Giving Day.
On SU's Giving Day, Squawkappella rallied their supporters and raised an impressive $1,459.11 from 23 generous donors. This financial boost is a significant milestone for the organization, enabling them to invest in new microphones, ensuring crystal-clear sound quality that will captivate audiences and elevate their performances.
In addition to the microphone upgrade, gifts from SU's Giving Day will help fund the production of an eagerly anticipated EP recording. This recording will not only serve as a testament to the group's talent and hard work but also provide them with a tangible representation of their musical journey at SU.
The impact of these donations on Squawkappella cannot be overstated. David Liburdi, a junior member of the group, expressed his gratitude, emphasizing the tight-knit friendships that have formed within Squawkappella. He said, "Something I love about Squawk is that we are a friend group first, and I wouldn't trade the bonds I’ve made in this group for anything."
Squawkappella remains immensely grateful for the support they received and eagerly anticipates the future, empowered by the newfound resources that will help them grow. Through their passion for a cappella music and the generosity of donors of SU’s Giving Day, Squawkappella will continue to create extraordinary musical experiences and forge lifelong friendships within the Salisbury University community.
