Richard & Karin Hoffman Study Abroad Scholarship
Give to Richard & Karin Hoffman Study Abroad Scholarship on Giving Day!
The Richard & Karin Hoffman Study Abroad Scholarship was established in celebration of Dick's retirement following the completion of the 2018-2019 academic year. The Study Abroad program began in 1995 and Dr. Hoffman was very involved; traveling with students to locations including France, Germany, Ireland, Estonia and China, among others. He and his wife, Karin have hosted numerous student get-togethers in their home following these trips and still keep in touch with many past students.
Their scholarship will support current Perdue School students, domestic and international, who participate in the Study Abroad program as they grow academically in a globally interdependent world.

SU Relay for Life
Give to the SU Relay for Life Club on Giving Day!
Since 2002, Relay for Life of Salisbury University has raised over $1 million
for the American Cancer Society. In 2023 we were able to raise over $50,000 and
had more than 500 individuals attended our event. Our goal is to once again be
amongst the biggest and best American Cancer Society Campus Relay For Life
events in the country! To get there, we need to attract more teams and
individuals to participate and raise money for the society’s mission of saving
lives from cancer.
Your gift will support the costs associated with the campus’ largest
student-organized and managed event such as: meeting & event supplies,
campus promotion and printing, fundraising awards & prizes, and event
logistics rentals….all of which enable us to put on a fun and educational event
while fundraising to end cancer as we know it. Since SU RFL club solely raises
money for the American Cancer Society, this is the one day a year we ask for
money for our club.
For more information on this
year's event please visit the SU Relay For Life website at www.relayforlife.org/sumd.

Salisbury Dance Festival
Salisbury Dance Festival is a multi-day festival intending to unite our local dance community at events and gatherings focused on celebrating and promoting dance on the Eastern Shore.
Our mission is to celebrate the diversity of dance at SU and our surrounding geographical area by providing a non-competitive space where performers and supporters can come together to celebrate their common love for this performance art. Participants will experience affordable and free classes, performances, presentations and dance centered explorations intended to expand participants’ knowledge of what and who defines or represents dance. We offer masterclasses, forums, dance demonstrations, and a culminating showcase where local groups perform alongside professional companies. We hope to give our local community the chance to experience dance in its various expressions and envision a series of ongoing events centered around this mission, promoting local and professional artists, students and programs.
2025 is our inaugural year! Come support our vision and participate in a week of dance centered sharing April 4-13, 2025! More info can be found at sbydancefest.com.
This event is co-hosted by Salisbury University and Fulton School of Liberal Arts.
