Organization of Latin American Students (OLAS)
Our mission is to educate others about Latino cultures in fun ways, such as games, debates, and other activities, promoting intercultural competence as a critical skill for today's world; to improve the college experience for Salisbury University’s Latinx students and the overall student body; and to contribute to the progress of the Latino population beyond Salisbury University through various outreach programs.
Outdoor Education Leadership (ODEL) Club
The purpose of the Outdoor Education Leadership Club is to nurture and expand knowledge on our environment and to cultivate interest in the Outdoor Education Leadership major/minor. The club would serve as a space for all students who are interested in the outdoors to be able to assemble and learn more together.
A key aspect of the Club revolves around it gathering outdoor education enthusiasts to campus to share their knowledge base as well as excursions to local and national parks for a number of outdoor activities. The Club will endeavor to explore numerous volunteer opportunities with local wildlife and environmental groups as well to learn more and give back to the community.

PACE Endowment
Give to The North Endowment for the Promotion of Civility on Giving Day!
Your generosity will support the Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE) in the delivery of programming, such as a lecture, lecture series, or training to promote dialogue, civic engagement, ethical conduct, and social cohesion among students, staff, faculty and the community at large. Programming will help community members build knowledge and hone skills for constructive dialogue about challenging topics.
Your gift, no matter the size, combined with others, will help PACE give our students a superior knowledge of public policies and civic leadership.
PE Society
The PE Society is a vibrant organization for students in the Physical Education Teacher Education program. Our members participate in various university and community service events to promote movement and well-being for everyone, especially children and youth.
The Maggs Physical Activities Center has hosted numerous sporting events, and now Salisbury University is proud to add adaptive sports to that list! Our aim is to raise awareness about adaptive sports and provide opportunities for students with physical disabilities to compete alongside their non-disabled peers. In 2024, in collaboration with the SU Intramural Sports program, we organized seven events, including wheelchair basketball and para-sitting volleyball tournaments, as well as our popular Adaptive Sports Nights, which teach participants the fundamental skills and strategies for different adaptive sports.
We also support local physical education teachers interested in incorporating adaptive sports into their curriculum by providing instructional resources and ideas for equipment.
With your support, we can continue offering these events and expand adaptive sports opportunities for the university and the wider community. Supporters who donate $15 or more will receive one of our popular adaptive sports t-shirts, displayed in the image carousel above.
POMS Dance Team
Giving Day 2025 donations will be going towards reducing uniform & pompom costs for our dancers, covering the costs of team sweatsuits, and will go towards having more team bonding events such as team meals! In the past these donations have provided us team sweatshirts, backpacks, athletic tank tops, Mock Rock tops and pants, and so much more – all thanks to the generous donations we receive on Giving Day!
